The airport escape route is about to close soon, yet more people are fleeing the Taliban. Nobody knows where they will go, through Tajikistan, through Uzbekistan, through Turkmenistan, through Pakistan, through Iran, anywhere. But Angela Merkel knows already where the most needy are. While the media shows the heart wrenching images from the airport. She offers money. To whom? To Non-governmental organizations, of course. Her buddy Ursula von der Leyen adds some more and, whoops, the bill runs up to 800 million € ($940 million).
The EU Commission solicited a report on right-wing extremist’s humour. The writers in charge were Maik Fielitz and Reem Ahmed of the Radicalisation Awareness Network RAN. It isn’t quite clear how they define right-wing extremists, but their enumerations don’t contain Islamists who, as the left is convinced, are ‘conservatives’ that, left to their own devices, would degrade any beautiful desert to a stinking free-market economy. We are no longer looking at ‘backward-looking, stiff and formal’ neo-Nazis, they say. But if it isn’t about all these top-hat, tailcoat skinheads with baseball bats that are abundant in Europe, apparently, who are we looking at? Pepe, of course!
And we look at Saul Alinsky, a ‘civil rights activist,’ who wrote the ‘renowned’ book ‘Rules for Radicals.’ ‘Rules for Radicals’ proposes that humour can be used as a weapon. And while sneering does the trick for the left right now, Alinsky’s idea was supposedly ripped from his innocent and harmless communist intentions and misappropriated to sinister internet memes.
Long and heavy rainfalls have flooded Germany over the weekend. The most affected areas are the states Rhineland-Palatinate and North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW). 170 deaths have been confirmed, but many people are still missing. Naturally the politicization of the events is slow because even the most reckless players have an incentive not to appear too reckless and unconcerned about the plight of the people on the ground. But slowly media articles dribble down suggesting that this flood is a manifestation of the omnipresent man-made climate change. The New York Times offers additional humidity in warmer air as a reasoning. German magazine Focus expects ‘permanent rain and droughts’ to come. Both. Not much effort goes into sorting the logic out and to educate the public. In fact the New York Times mentioned explanation was crammed into a single sentence. Their readers are supposed to do all the education on their own.

The allegation is that there is too much media concentration in Hungary. That is probably true, but the situation is easily as bad, if not actually much worse, everywhere else and the list counts only 37 heads of government.
The polls for the upcoming general election in Germany indicate a trend towards a Green-Party Chancellorship. Annalena Baerbock, the party’s official candidate, sits like a spider in a cobweb of interest groups and lobby networks. Her husband Daniel Holefleisch is a life-long lobbyist by profession. Let’s talk about it!
correction: I have mentioned in a displayed note that Holefleisch describes the activity of snowcap AG as forming ties between universities and ministries. That was the description of his role there. The company’s self-description is elusive and questionable. Their website is written in English and you find it here.
When Charles Michel, the head of the European Council, and Ursula von der Leyen, the head of the European Commission, entered the press room, there was one chair for the Turkish leader and one for the European leader. And so Charles Michel sat down. After all he is the leader of the assembly of the heads of government and thus the European leader. Or is that von der Leyen? Does one know?
It’s all damn complicated. Who leads what in Europe and who is answerable to who? Desperate feminists decided that the gender decided who got the chair and that Ursula von der Leyen was outpatriarchied by Michel and Erdogan. Sure enough Erdogan could not know in advance that she would enter the room later than Michel. But he could know and did know that he could totally expose the lack of understandably defined responsibilities and accountabilities in the EU.
The EU Court of Justice has delivered another blow to Hungary last weekend. According to the judges, the already dismantled Hungarian transit zones constituted a “detention,” despite its opening towards the perfectly save Serbia where the immigrants came from. Hungary is castigated for not being helpful enough to perfect strangers in their ambition to start masses of expensive and exhaustive legal processes. EU law demands the individualisation of asylum politics and remains an obstacle to bulk solutions. But while the careless elites and advocates have lost themselves in their legalese, they can still not answer the question: Why should people who have travelled to their border be more privileged or more needing than the millions of people in Africa, Asia and Latin America? And when are they too many?
The EU is working on a new ledger of legislation to combat “hate speech.” By the end of this week they are expected to present a “Digital Services Act” that is posing potential penalties for non-compliance of something between 6-10% of a company’s turnover. This should concern all of us, no matter where we live, because the clout of the EU market will shape the behaviour of Big Tech everywhere. Additionally, President of the EU Commission Ursula von der Leyen is starting a “Transatlantic AI Agreement,” hoping to reign in the dark magic of AI-driven search results and recommendation systems. Artificial Intelligence is the part of the already highly manipulated algorithms that will always remain a black box for purely technological reasons. The mere idea that there is a something that the EU cannot control is driving the Eurocrats absolutely BONKERS. Ursula von der Leyen has repeatedly stated that she wants Artificial Intelligence and the removal of black boxes from algorithms at the same time. She lacks the knowledge und the humbleness to listen to qualified people to deal with the technological issues she tries to mess with. Hoping that you spread my content as far as possible on as many platforms as possible, I will only say, and say it loud and proud, that this has nothing to do with her gender or Islam.
The case is not new, but still current. Ursula von der Leyen created an office for her old companion Jens Flosdorff. He served under her in the German state of Lower Saxony, in the Federal Ministry of Defence and now on the EU level. The salary is great, yes, huge. But what is his position? He is the speaker who does not work with the corps of press secretary, the media-relation craftsman for the administration-media-fleece complex, the right hand of the left hand. He holds the Office of Flosdorff, l’office de Flosdorff.
Jean Quatremer, a journalist with the French magazine ‘Libération’ tried to raise awareness for the scandal. With limited success so far.
The article by Jean Quatremer:
She’s got the job she was not running for
Walking through that open door.
The EU parliament did consent,
Was as always irrelevant.
And this she doesn’t want you to know:
Ladson was her name to go.
Called herself after slave holders.
She felt it was alright.
A pedigry others envy.
She had it all in sight.
Of the Civil War.
She’s got excuses for.
She gets away with it.
A great grandma
She hardly met.
A bogus terror threat.
The communists – after her head – wanted to see her dead.
And this she doesn’t want you to know:
Consultants for jobs high and low
Paid for; on a tax-payer’s dime.
Brought in Suder
Who sluiced the industry
With deals from the ministry.
Ladson padded her back.
A conscience she lacked.
She gets away with it.
Saw the intranet;
Holes in the armory.
Bad for the defence.
Come on! Let’s dance!
She gets away with it.
And this she doesn’t want you to know.
Stabs your back.
Friend or foe.
Hunts witches for cheap power games.
Robbed the military
Of its history.
Even of Chancellor Schmidt
She got rid.
The portraits went.
The vintage banned.
She gets rid of it.
Paranoia! Nazi scare!
She just loves the flair.
The truth bogged down in the mud:
She’s just a dud.
And this my friend is not yet the end.
Ms Ladson gets away with it.
